I've spent the last 30 years recruiting technical talent in Silicon Valley, working with some of the world's leading technology companies, including Apple, VeriSign, Juniper Networks, Nest Labs, Google, Splunk, and Opendoor.

I have a bachelor's degree in engineering and a master's degree in Engineering Management from Santa Clara University. My engineering background has always influenced the way I approach recruiting. I don't just look at a job description or focus on buzzwords. I want to understand the technology, the problems the team is solving, and the capabilities someone actually needs to be successful in the role.

Over the years, I've developed a very strategic, intelligence-driven approach to recruiting. I've also had the opportunity to work within companies that have strong HR organizations and established recruiting best practices. I've taken what I've learned from those environments and combined it with my own engineering mindset to build a process that brings accountability, transparency, and trust to the entire recruiting lifecycle.

I've always run my own desk as a full-cycle technical recruiter, working closely with hiring managers, stakeholders, and candidates from the initial intake through the final offer. I'm constantly calibrating, checking alignment, making sure everyone understands their role in the process, and holding people accountable to their commitments. I believe recruiting works best when it's a true strategic partnership, supported by recruiting intelligence at every stage.

That rigor has consistently made me a top performer throughout my career. I've been successful across a broad range of technical disciplines, including software, hardware, data, backend and frontend engineering, platforms, AI/ML, observability, cloud, and SaaS. My approach has helped me close the roles I've worked on while reducing time to fill, without compromising the quality of the hire or the candidate experience.

I've always believed in a high-touch, white-glove approach to recruiting. Technology should make that approach stronger, not replace the judgment, relationships, and accountability that make it work.
